Please note:
This adapter supports up to 802.11 G. It should not be confused with the dual antennae Black (Elite) N model.

This adapter is not compatible for use as a Wi-Fi adapter on Windows, Mac, Linux, or BSD computers. It has no use outside of being connected to an Xbox 360.

Adapter is not required for Wi-Fi connectivity on newer Model 2 (S) and Model 3 (E) consoles, which have Wi-Fi chipsets onboard. Connecting this adapter to an Xbox 360 Model 2 (S) will disable the built-in Wi-Fi module, if you wish to use an external antennae and USB extension for better signal.

The 802.11 G protocol this adapter uses is inferior to the 802.11 N the Model 2 (S) is capable of on its own.
